Welcome to FixMyTool. By accessing fixmytool.in, our mobile application, or booking a repair service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. About our service
FixMyTool (a SamnanTools service brand) connects customers across India with verified technicians for repair of home appliances, power tools, commercial kitchen machines, and electric motors. Our model is: Ship → Diagnose → Approve estimate → Repair → Test → Return.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older and provide accurate contact and address details. Bookings are currently available for serviceable pincodes in India.
3. Booking & inspection fee
- Submitting a booking does not guarantee immediate repair. A technician reviews your request and may request additional photos or information.
- An inspection / booking fee may apply as shown at checkout. This covers initial assessment and logistics coordination.
- If the machine is beyond economical repair or not serviceable, the inspection fee may be non-refundable except where stated in our Refund Policy.
4. Estimates & approval
- After receiving your machine, we provide a repair estimate including spare parts and labour.
- Work begins only after you approve the estimate (via app, WhatsApp, or email confirmation).
- If you decline the estimate, the machine will be returned as per our shipping policy. Applicable charges may apply.
5. Shipping & risk
- Customers are responsible for safe packaging unless we arrange pickup.
- Transit risk during courier movement is governed by the courier’s terms and our How to Ship guide.
- We recommend video recording while packing and handing over the parcel.
6. Payments
Payments are processed in Indian Rupees (₹) via Razorpay or other approved methods. Advance payments may be required before spare parts are ordered. Final payment is due before return dispatch unless otherwise agreed.
7. Warranty on repairs
Repaired items carry a limited service warranty on workmanship and replaced parts as communicated in your invoice — typically 30–90 days depending on the repair type. Warranty does not cover physical damage, misuse, or unrelated faults after return.
8. Limitation of liability
FixMyTool’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific repair booking. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or business losses. Maximum liability shall not exceed the repair invoice value.
9. Technician partners
Technicians on our platform are independent service partners vetted by FixMyTool. They must comply with our quality and conduct standards. FixMyTool coordinates the customer experience but execution is performed by assigned technicians.
10. Intellectual property
All content on fixmytool.in — logos, text, images, and software — is owned by FixMyTool / SamnanTools. You may not copy or redistribute without permission.
11. Prohibited use
You may not misuse the platform for fraudulent bookings, abusive behaviour, or submission of illegal items for repair.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.
